Create Habitat backyard wild bird with a bird feeder

With a little imagination and very little effort, you can transform your garden into a natural habitat for birds. If you are an avid birder or simply want invite nature a little more close to your home, put feeders on the red carpet for our avian friends.
According to the Audubon (audubon.org) company, a bird feeder comes in one of the four basic models. Ground feeders are flat and open, a bottom pre-selected and rest of the soil and should be located ten feet of trees or shrubs near so the bird can fly any predators. Ground feeders can be squirrel using wire mesh on the bird feeder.
Tube feeders are cylindrical in shape and have generally openings which allow birds pick seeds. They should be hung soil, for maximum fun, close to a window so that family members can watch wild birds who come to visit.
Suet feeders and hopper are generally shaped houses. They suggest that you use several humming bird feeders and fill each with water, taking care to avoid honey and Red food colouring. In addition, you must modify the solution in the weekly or more often hot humming bird feeder.
It is certainly possible to make your own feeders, but there are several major feeders available on the market, including those made by funny Yankee, Opus, Woodllink and Duncraft.
To get the most out of your bird watching experience, Audubon Society suggests that you use several types of feeders and that you place them at different heights and locations. In this way, you will attract a wide variety of wild birds. In addition, make sure that your efforts to create a backyard habitat interfere in the you try to attract birds. Keep birdfeeders three feet away from Windows to avoid collisions and sure to keep your cat inside.
